Serving Men and Women in our Community
The services offered by the Forward Training Center of Hood County answer the prayers of many men and women who find themselves in difficult circumstances. Some may need to provide for their family without any means of support or the skills to improve their situation.
Who are some of the men and women that can be helped by FTC?
- Widows or widowers
- Single parents with children
- Those with disabilities
- Victims of family violence
- Those in poverty
- Those recovering from substance abuse
- Stay-at-home mothers who need to enter the workforce
This volunteer-run organization helps men and women to help themselves. Men and women with needs that cannot be met by FTC are referred to other local programs.
